We scheduled a visit and went all around this wonderful museum. The “Still We Rise” exhibit was so immersive and moving. This is a must see in Detroit! Full review by Josh P

It depends on the size of the group. With large groups there is more interaction with Q & A and picture taking - approx 2+ hrs. Smaller groups 1 to 1 1/2 hrs.

I would suggest calling the museum ahead and see if you can make arrangements to see this museum with one of the docents. It is truly a fabulous place and we so enjoyed our visit and our docent, "Willie", was really wonderful. I think you will definitely appreciate the museum more by going on a tour.
