We scheduled a visit and went all around this wonderful museum. The “Still We Rise” exhibit was so immersive and moving. This is a must see in Detroit! Full review by Josh P

I came here as a field trip with a bunch of college students, and we all spent over the average 1 hour (about 3 hours) in the permanent exhibition. So much information and so many videos to watch!!! … Full review by Madison R

How long does it usually take to go through the museum?
A:
It depends on the size of the group. With large groups there is more interaction with Q & A and picture taking - approx 2+ hrs. Smaller groups 1 to 1 1/2 hrs.

It is truly a fabulous place and we so enjoyed our visit and our docent, "Willie", was really wonderful. I think you will definitely appreciate the museum more by going on a tour.
Yes,I believe it is a permanent display,as well it should be,as it provides an UNPARRALLED perspective of being an Involuntary passenger on a pan-Atlantic One-way voyage!!
