This is the most beautiful garden! The flowers are so perfect that I had people asking me on Facebook if they were real! Peaceful and perfect. Full review by LanaSimmons125

Pat: I do not have a pet and never thought to ask. I did, however, see many locals with leashed pets strolling about the Public Gardens and even in coffee shops, Cabin Coffee on Hollis next to Four Points Hotel, specifically. I did notice that, as in Europe, dogs don't bark. If you have a barking dog inside a building, you may be asked to leave. Most of the sites reviewed have websites or email addresses. Are dogs allowed on lease in Halifax Public Gardens 2019
A:
No dogs are allowed, not even on a leash. There are guards at the garden to enforce the rules -- and they are very strict and yet very, very nice. You have to see these gardens to believe them!

The Halifax Public Gardens are at least 1/2 hour walk fro the cruise pavilion. One way to do it is to to walk one block up and one block over until you meet Spring Garden Road at Barrington St.. Lots of interesting small shops along the way - Rest and have a coffee in our iconic library at Spring Garden Road and Queen - then its i flat to the Gardens by continuing on Spring Garden Road y walking by the eclectic shops and restaurants to South Park Street and there you are Another way is to catch the hop on/hop off Bus and hop off at the Gardens then carry on to other wonderful Halifax Historic sites such as The Citadel one of the 9 star-shaped forts in the world Or you could take a taxi ad walk back ! Enjoy the Gardens - they will delight you! .
Hello, I have family coming to visit next week and we were wondering if the gardens will be open to the public all next week. We're not decided on what day we want to visit the beautiful gardens.
