Tony Todd, an actor known for his portrayal of a killer with a hook on one arm in the 1992 horror film “Candyman,” died Nov. 6 at his home in the Los Angeles area. He was 69. His manager Jeffrey Goldberg confirmed the death but did not disclose the cause.
