Finally, the area we are keeping a close eye on is in the northwest Caribbean Sea and the south Gulf of Mexico. If this is to develop, it would be sometime next week, and the chances of development over the next 7 days has increased from 20% yesterday to 40% as of this morning.

A broad area of low pressure in the northwestern Caribbean Sea could form by early next week. Gradual development of this system is possible, and a tropical depression could form as the system moves slowly to the north or northwest and into the southern Gulf of Mexico through the middle part of next week.
