Daniel Theis reportedly close to signing with Monaco
AS Monaco is close to signing big man Daniel Theis according to SDNA. The German forward/center was being released by the Oklahoma City Thunder and is free to sign with any team after clearing waivers. Theis was reported to also have a big offer in his hands by Panathinaikos Athens.

With Theis gone, the Thunder now have an open roster spot. They could use it to convert Ajay Mitchell to a standard deal. The two-way rookie has played well despite toe surgery likely knocking him out for the rest of the regular season. No need to risk exposing him to restricted free agency.
