The Fels High School community is mourning the death of one of their students after he was killed during an early morning shooting in Feltonville. According to Philadelphia Police, the victim, 17-year-old Noah Scurry,

Noah Scurry, a 17-year-old Samuel Fels High School basketball player, was murdered while on the way to school Tuesday.

The boy was getting into a car to go to school at Samuel Fels High School with his mom Tuesday morning when he was shot, School District of Philadelphia spokesperson Monique Braxton said.

The community at Samuel Fels High School in Philadelphia is grieving after police say a student-athlete was shot and killed on the way to school. Police are investigating.
