Cedarville University says Grace Maxwell, a junior mechanical engineering major, was on the flight from Kansas to Washington when it collided with an Army copter.

A junior at Cedarville University who had reportedly just returned to Kansas for her grandfather’s funeral is among the 67 feared dead in a plane crash.

In a press release Thursday, Cedarville University’s director of public relations says student Grace Maxwell was among those killed in the mid-air collision Wednesday night. Cedarville says that Maxwell was returning to campus from her home in Wichita, Kansas when her flight was downed.
