Sony Names Hideaki Nishino as CEO of SIE Amid Leadership Changes
Hideaki Nishino has been promoted to CEO and president of Sony Interactive Entertainment, with Hermen Hulst retaining his position as CEO of the Studio Business Group. Nishino's new role as the sole CEO of SIE will come into effect from April 1, 2025.

Sony has announced another round of the shaking-up in its corporate leadership it kicked off last year, moving on from the double CEO solution it'd adopted in the aftermath of Jim Ryan's retirement, and having one of those two execs properly "take the helm".
