SEOUL - The conflict between Hybe and former Ador CEO Min Hee-jin appears to be escalating into a broader dispute between the fandoms of BTS and NewJeans, as BTS’s fanbase, Army, raises its voice in opposing Ms Min’s potential return.

This online movement was not the only action taken by BTS fans. On September 16, ARMY issued a detailed statement on X (formerly Twitter) to clarify their position regarding Min Hee Jin's return. They expressed concern over the spread of misinformation and outlined their reasons for opposing her reinstatement as ADOR CEO,

This comes after NewJeans issued an ultimatum to Hybe on Sept. 11, demanding Min’s return to her role by Sept. 25. In their statement, ARMYs accused Min of consulting a shaman to harm BTS and attempting to manipulate public opinion against the group.

The conflict between South Korean entertainment company HYBE and former ADOR CEO Min Hee-jin has spread to the fandoms. At least part of BTS' fanbase known as ARMY has expressed its opposition to Hee-jin's potential return.
