Two Wichita groups have organized three events to commemorate the life and ideals of the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. on the federal holiday — Monday, Jan. 20 — that recognizes the civil rights leader’s birthday.

Race starts 9am Sunday at Harbor Drive and Ash Street; health festival is 9am-4pm Celebrate at the annual event featuring soul, jazz, reggae and other musical artists, craft vendors, guest speakers and dance performances.
