As Jennifer Crumbley, the mother of the Oxford High School shooter, works to appeal her sentence, her attorney is demanding she be released from prison.

The mother of the Oxford High School shooter will be spending the next decade of her life behind bars, but her lawyers are trying to get her out sooner than that.

Crumbley's attorney, Michael Deszi, filed a motion in the Oakland County Circuit Court on Thursday, arguing that Crumbley is not a "flight risk" and "poses no danger to the public."

Crumbley asked Dec. 2 that a judge throw out her involuntary manslaughter conviction or give her a chance at a new trial.
