Trace Cyrus is doubling down on his concerns about his father Billy Ray Cyrus, whom he alleges threatened him with legal action after a public plea.

Billy Ray Cyrus posted that he wants "healing" for his family, shortly after his son Trace expressed public concern for his father.

Trace Cyrus, brother of Miley Cyrus and son of Bill Ray Cyrus, wrote on social media Saturday that his father threatened legal action against him following a plea for Billy Ray to get help.

The Cyrus family may be filled with achy breaky hearts. Back in June 2024, Billy Ray Cyrus reportedly filed for divorce from fellow singer Firerose after seven short months. Recently, Miley Cyrus seemingly doubled down on her decision to remain “no contact” with her famous father. Now, Trace Cyrus has damning claims of his own.

Billy Ray has now posted a short video to YouTube from his 2008 track “Somebody Say a Prayer”, along with a caption that seemed to address his family strife. “Sunday callin,” he wrote. “Giving thanks for the California rain. Praying for the brokenhearted and their pain. Praying for my family. For my children… sons and daughters… and their mother.
