Since its release in 2019, Winchester's new .350 Legend cartridge has grown in the market with a favorable appeal. But just how useful is this cartridge in an AR-15 platform?

I tested an LWC in .350 Legend and found it to be just as accurate as nicer single-shot straight-wall deer rifles I’ve tested, but at a fraction of the price.

Starting with the fluted cylinder, the 350 Legend is 30 percent smaller in diameter than its biggest-bore counterpart, the .500. However, the Model 350 picks up the slack in cartridge capacity.

The 350 Legend is also designed to work in AR-15 style rifles. It’s been the hot ticket in town over the past few years, and new rifle and deer hunting ammo introductions are happening pretty fast.
