This Bane proved to be similar to his alternate selves in the sense that he overwhelmed Batman when they first met. His use of venom was unknown to the Dark Knight and nearly resulted in his death.

If Absolute Batman wants to avoid being broken by this giant Bane, he's going to have to push himself harder than he ever has before. Absolute Batman #9 is available on June 11th from DC Comics.

Bane is one of the few who can manage both tasks. Given that, it is unsurprising that a new version of the “Man Who Broke the Bat” is emerging within the pages of Absolute Batman.
