The Penguins brought a very young squad up to Buffalo for the first exhibition game of 2024-25. The Sabres didn’t show any mercy, coming out with a lineup stocked with NHl talent. The end result was predictable enough at that point,

The Sabres have been ramping up their training camp faster than usual with a trip to Europe for the NHL Global Series quickly approaching. They only have two preseason contests prior to their departure next Tuesday, then one final exhibition tune-up against Red Bull Munich before regular-season play begins in Czechia on Oct. 4.

The Pittsburgh Penguins begin their preseason schedule Saturday against the Buffalo Sabres at Key Bank Arena. The overcrowded Penguins included a couple of NHL regulars and hopefuls on the roster that will faceoff against Buffalo at 7 p.
