According to the Federal Trade Commission, Credit Karma told many people they were pre-approved to get them to apply for offers, but in many cases, the consumers did not qualify.
Consumers are eligible to file a claim if they were offered a pre-approved credit card by Credit Karma, but were denied upon applying, with the FTC now sending notices to 497,425 such consumers.
