LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — In a new video just released by the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department, a man shoots himself in the hand after pulling a gun on a deputy.

He is seen pointing a gun outside the victim’s home. Jean Pierre Rengifo Arteaga was shot in the head, right forearm and stomach on 96th St. near 34th Ave. in North Corona about 7:20 p.m. Sept. 13.
