It isn't likely Trinity Lake will get much fuller than 85% this year, said Don Bader, area manager for the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, which manages the water in Trinity Lake.

At 51% full on Oct. 16, Trinity Lake continues to be dryer than usual, as it has been for several years, sitting at 86% of its historic average. That's still a big improvement, Bader said.
