MOUNT VERNON — For the first time since 2019, Mount Vernon High School students created displays made out of tulips they topped themselves.

MOUNT VERNON — A group of Mount Vernon High School students made a trip to a RoozenGaarde tulip field Wednesday to get the tulip petals needed to put together displays at the school.

Tulip Town is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday through Sunday. It is at 15002 Bradshaw Road in Mount Vernon.

Open from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily 16648 Jungquist Road, Mount Vernon Tulip Valley Farms 20 acres of tulips, u-pick tulip field, audio tour, farm animals and a nighttime laser and light show.

The closest location is only about 8 minutes from the tulip fields in Mount Vernon, at 121 Freeway Drive and is open from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. daily.
