Clean the paint bucket with salt If you have small steel paint cans , you can use salt to clean them. For this, take water in a pan and boil 2-3 spoons of salt and alum in it.

If you've just painted a room, obviously, it's going to smell overwhelmingly like paint fumes. To help clear that smell out faster, just place a bucket of water in the center of the room.
