In November, the Laureate Beta Pi Chapter of the Beta Sigma Phi social sorority honored Garda Cox for 60 years of membership in the organization with the Diamond Circle Ritual.

Beta Sigma Phi began in Amarillo in February of 1937 with the first chartered chapter, Texas Alpha Alpha. They celebrated with a banquet on April 28.
