There's a New No. 1, Auburn Tigers Claim Top Spot in AP Poll
The Auburn Tigers survived a scare in South Carolina to claim the top spot in this week's AP Top 25. For the second time in program history, Auburn (15-1, 3-0 SEC) is the No. 1 team in the country in this week’s Associated Press Top 25 Poll with 60 first-place votes on Monday.

The No.1 ranking is just the second time that the Tigers have ever been atop the AP poll, the 2021-2022 team was the first in program history to hold the top spot. Auburn is ranked 15-1 with seven Quad 1 wins and two Quad 2 wins, according to NET rankings. The Tigers’ only loss was on the road against Duke in December.
