Each couple on the show was given four different dance styles to prepare ahead of this week’s episode. Just minutes before the couple was set to take the stage they found out which dance style they would be performing and which song they would be dancing to.
Dancing With The Stars' Instant Dance Challenge Was A Bold Idea, But I Wasn't A Fan For A Couple Of Reasons
I can applaud Dancing With The Stars for taking a bold step and trying something different to commemorate its long run, and I can see why producers thought a live challenge would add a thrill to the night. However, I think it fell flat for a couple of reasons and shouldn't be part of the competition going forward.
