In a social media post, the official Fortnite account posted an image of the original map with an accompanying statement, saying "OG is coming BACK and is here to stay. Relive Battle Royale from the start and explore the OG map, collect OG loot, and relive OG seasons. Drop back in on December 6."

Fortnite players, get ready to party like it's 2017. On Tuesday, Epic Games announced that Fortnite OG is returning on Dec. 6, and this time, it's staying for good. Fortnite OG allows players to experience the game as it was when it was first released back in September 2017.

Fortnite has had attractive game modes and collaborations to keep players hooked. Epic Games has also used nostalgia to reignite interest in Battle Royale. Proof of this was OG, a mode that brought back the original map for a limited time.
