It may be the dead of winter where you are right now, but this might warm you up: It's golf season somewhere! Believe it or not, the 2025 PGA Tour is well underway, having concluded tournaments far from the snow in Hawaii and California already.

The PGA Tour has been in talks with the Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia (PIF) over ending their ongoing dispute with LIV Golf ever since a framework agreement announcement in June 2023

Rumours of a potential move to LIV Golf surfaced around three weeks ago and were confirmed by Rory McIlroy at the recent Hero Dubai Desert Classic.

Gary Young, the PGA Tour’s senior vice president of rules and competition, said players and fans have suggested they could help pace-of-play issues.
