Police officers on the scene in Knutsford have told those living in the street they have "found devices". David McDonald, 64, told Cheshire Live a police officer knocked on his door at 9.30am.

"Unknown substances" have been found at an address during a raid, leading to a number of homes being evacuated to allow for disposal work to take place, police have said.
