Multiple roads were blocked by fallen trees as Storm Éowyn battered Leicestershire today with 60mph winds. The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning which will remain in place until midnight tonight.
There's a chance of some wintry weather for parts of England as an "Arctic blast" of cold air hits the UK. There are predictions the cold air could lead to very heavy snow in some areas this weekend - although it's not predicted to hit Leicestershire.
