Hoping to tap into the fact that one in four U.S. consumers are now viewing free curated video services daily, DirecTV is working with programmers like A&E, Fox, Lionsgate, Scripps and others to distribute an lineup of popular FAST (free ad-supported streaming TV) channels on MyFree DirecTV.

DirecTV launched a new FAST service called MyFree DirecTV. FAST networks are growing in popualrity as SVOD subscriber grwoth slows and cord cutting is not slowing down.

MavTV announced its official launch to all customers that stream DirecTV satellite-free: Fans can now access content using the DirecTV app.
