Ohio State football is on the verge of winning its ninth national title in school history. The Buckeyes will face a resilient Notre Dame team in a matchup between two of the most iconic programs in the sport.

The Ohio State Buckeyes and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish are the last two teams standing in the first-ever 12-team College Football Playoff, and they'll compete for a national championship on Monday night.

"I'm happy for all those guys, I pull for them," Kelly told CBS Sports as he exited an American Football Coaches Association meeting Tuesday in Charlotte. "A lot of the guys there that are on both sides of the ball, I recruited. Obviously I want to see those guys win it all, and I think they're in a great position. Totally excited for those guys."
