An investigation has started after a sinkhole appeared in a Worthing street. The sinkhole, on Mill Road in the west of the town, was reported to Sussex Police at about 20:20 BST on Thursday.
Repairs to a sinkhole in a Surrey town centre are "progressing well", Thames Water has said. The sinkhole first appeared in West Street in Dorking on 30 August, when the road was closed to traffic.
