Catherine, Princess of Wales joined the royal family as they paid their respects to all those who have lost their lives in conflicts at the annual Remembrance Day service in London on Sunday.

The Princess of Wales has taken a significant step in her gradual return to public royal duties by attending the Festival of Remembrance. Joined by the Prince of Wales and King Charles, her presence at the Royal British Legion event comes after William spoke candidly of how 2024 has been “brutal” and “probably the hardest year in my life ”.

The Princess of Wales will attend Remembrance events in London at the weekend, Buckingham Palace has said. She will attend both the Sunday service at the Cenotaph and the Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall on Saturday evening. The princess has been gradually returning to public royal duties following her cancer treatment.
