This week marks the PGA Tour’s second event of the season, but first full-field tournament at it remains in Hawaii for the Sony Open. Taking the flight from Maui to Honolulu was Hideki Matsuyama, the record-setting victor from The Sentry last week at Kapalua.

Pro golfers from around the globe traveled to Oahu for the Sony Open, but some golfers like Chan Kim and Tyler Loree represent Hawaii while playing on the green.

On the ninth hole at the Sony Open in Hawaii, the former Masters champion hit an iffy tee shot, but it was his driver that ended up being the truly errant projectile. Matsuyama lost grip of the club on his follow through, sending it into the observers' area.
