Parts of Florida see nearly 10 inches of snow in updated totals
The National Weather Service just dropped updated snowfall totals, with Milton now up to 9.8 inches. This will be the final total and, if verified, may stand as the new Florida state record for snowfall. A previous record was 4 inches, also set in Milton in 1954.
Milton saw almost 9 inches of snow in a historic winter storm storm that shattered the previous 130-year record.
There is a 30 percent chance of showers in Miami on Thursday, which will occur mainly between 7 a.m. and 1 p.m. Eastern time.
