A priest is asking for prayers for a man who assaulted him earlier this week during a Washington church service.

A Washington State priest whose assault was captured on a church livestream during a service devoted to healing said he did not know his attacker and had never seen him before.

Video from the church shows a man sitting in a pew before rushing the sanctuary and appearing to throw a punch at Father David Gaines.
