A tornado warning has been issued for two major U.S. states on Thursday. The National Weather Service announced on Thursday, May 22 that a tornado warning has been issued for two of the biggest states in the country.

A multi-day severe weather event continued on Tuesday as tornado warnings were issued in at least five states.

On Tuesday at 11:54 p.m. an updated tornado warning was released by the National Weather Service in effect until Wednesday at 12:15 a.m. for Calhoun County.

On Wednesday at 5 p.m. the National Weather Service issued a tornado warning in effect until 5:30 p.m. for Allegheny, Washington and Westmoreland counties.

At 12:04 p.m. on Tuesday, the National Weather Service released a tornado warning in effect until 12:45 p.m. for Colbert and Lauderdale counties.

Some storms have already popped up, prompting severe thunderstorm warnings to be issued and a severe thunderstorm watch in southern Oklahoma.

At 4:33 p.m. on Wednesday, the National Weather Service released a tornado warning in effect until 5 p.m. for Armstrong and Butler counties.
