Lyon will miss a fifth straight game Saturday, though it appears he could return to action Sunday in Dallas, according to St. James. The 32-year-old Lyon has made 16 appearances for the Red Wings this year, going 8-5-1 with a .902 save percentage.

Lyon (upper body) will travel with the Red Wings for their four-game road trip, Daniella Bruce of the Red Wings' official site reports Wednesday. In addition to Lyon, the team will also have Ville Husso on the trip,
The up-and-down campaign of Detroit Red Wings goalie Ville Husso is re-entering the down cycle. Following Saturday’s 5-1 loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning, the Wings were reassigning Husso to the AHL Grand Rapids Griffins.
That will also lead to Husso being sent packing back to the AHL. Husso allowed five goals on 23 shots against the Sharks in his lone appearance during this NHL stint.
