Injured quick Jasprit Bumrah has been named in India's provisional 15-member squad for next month's Champions Trophy, while spinner Kuldeep Yadav is also set to return after picking up a groin issue in October.

The 33-year-old batter, who last played a match in the Indian colours in 2017, had a prolific run in the recently concluded Vijay Hazare Trophy where he accumulated over 700 runs and helped Karnataka to win the title.

India's squad for the upcoming event is set to be announced on January 18. The selectors will also pick the squad for the three-match ODI series against England. Ajit Agarkar and Rohit will also address the press conference after announcement.

Former India cricketer and Yuvraj Singh's father, Yograj reacted to Team India's squad for the upcoming Champions Trophy 2025 and said that the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and selectors have supported the team.
