According to reports, former Alabama Crimson Tide tight end Amari Niblack has re-entered the NCAA transfer portal after only one season with the Texas Longhorns.

Former Alabama tight end Amari Niblack has re-entered the transfer portal after spending one season at Texas.  Niblack began his college career at Alabama.

Niblack played on special teams for the Longhorns and was the third tight end behind Gunnar Helm and Juan Davis. He caught five passes for 33 yards in nine games.

Wiggins is the 12th portal transfer for South Alabama in the current cycle, and third offensive lineman. The Jaguars have also added senior Ni Mansell (South Carolina) and sophomore Leavy Johnson (Western Kentucky) since the end of the 2024 season.
