Paul George scored 30 points, Tyrese Maxey had 29 and the short-handed Philadelphia 76ers beat the Cleveland Cavaliers 132-129 on Friday night to end a seven-game losing streak.

Cavaliers guard Donovan Mitchell led all scorers in this game with 37 points, but it was 76ers forward Paul George who led his team to victory with 30 points, five rebounds and three assists in 36 minutes of action. Appearing in his 29th game of the season, George raised his season scoring average to 17.4 points.

The Cavaliers face tough times with injuries to their rotation, but hopeful updates suggest a potential return for key players soon.

The Cavaliers, already dealing with recent injuries, will be without Dean Wade for at least the next two weeks. Wade sustained a right knee injury during the Cavs' Jan. 24 game in Philadelphia and then missed the next two games.
