The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the latest set of winners in the ongoing ICC Awards 2024, with the outstanding cricketers in Men’s Tests and Men’s and Women’s ODIs revealed on ICC channels.

Afghanistan all-rounder Azmatullah Omarzai has made history by becoming the first player from his country to be crowned the ICC Men's ODI Cricketer of the Year.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the ODI Men’s Player of the Year award as part of the ICC Awards, with Afghanistan all-rounder Azmatullah Omarzai receiving the honor.

Smriti Mandhana put several batting stalwarts, including the likes of South Africa's Laura Wolvaardt, England's Tammy Beaumont (554) and West Indies' Hayley Matthews, to shade.

On the women's side, Smriti Mandhana was awarded the ICC Women’s ODI Cricketer of the Year, her second such honor after her initial win in 2018. At 28, Mandhana has had a stellar year, scoring 747 runs in 13 matches with an average of 57.86 and a strike rate of 95.15.
