May 9, 2023 · If you want to learn then taking the time to understand the foundational Cloud Practitioner concepts is very useful imo, if you want a certificate fast and are more concerned about giving correct answers in the exam then you can immediately move towards studying for the Solutions Architect.

Until we get to the PRO level and specializations, we are mostly learning how to be salespeople to help AWS gain market share. The associate (and CCP) level certs are not very technically difficult but are a rung on the ladder to help AWS push product. The CCP will not educate a person enough to 'get a job' doing cloud.

I'm not sure if its because there would be a new CLF-C02 exam version and AWS included those new concepts/services in the current exam, but in all honesty, I did enjoy taking this test.

Nov 4, 2023 · I got my cloud practitioner without studying, and just pure AWS experience, I honestly don't think it would be beneficial to you as this certification doesn't prove any depth knowledge, it would be better if you prepare for solutions architect associate (or wait for a cloud practitioner challenge/ associate challenge and get a free voucher)
