The inductees took the membership oath and were sworn in by the Chapter’s chaplain, Carol Weiler, of Port Angeles, at an induction ceremony at the Pacific Pizza Restaurant in Forks.

At the time of the article, Grandma (Esther) Ford had been gone almost thirty years; passing at the age of 92 in 1932. The early Forks pioneer had left an impression and Fletcher shared her story.

Aug 3, 2023 · Military, young, old, veterans they hugged us, shook our hands, they held welcome signs. A sailor pushed my wheelchair, someone else carried our luggage, there was a bagpipe player, and even people dressed in Revolutionary War uniforms. The welcome home was just amazing. Everything is done by volunteers, Alaska Airlines donated the plane.
