Editor of two weeklies to step down after nine years
May 20, 2024 · The launch editor of a weekly print title has announced he is stepping down after nine years in charge. Phil Creighton started up Wokingham Today in 2015 and followed it up with Reading Today in 2021. Now he is bowing out as editor, but the newspapers are to continue with a successor due to be appointed shortly.
Four editor jobs at risk in National World cutbacks
2 days ago · Four editor posts are at risk in a fresh round of cutbacks at regional publisher National World which will also see one daily title reduced to just three news reporters.
