Mar 16, 2012 · Generally lower light. I have yet to kill a chalice from too low light. That said, some look much better in higher light (like some pink chalices turn red in low light). Low flow. Generally don't let them touch, and many fish will pick the food out of them, so feeding can be tricky if you have lots of fish that pick off th floor/rocks.

Jun 10, 2021 · The brown out chalice frag looks more like it got hit by another corals sweeper tentacles than bleaching, imo? Some corals will send out sweeper tentacles at night to attack and eat other corals to keep space open for them to grow. The Alk is high, I try to stay near 8 or less, with 7 as the lower target.
