Dec 19, 2017 · Microsoft Works is very old software that hasn't been sold for years. It's not supported on Windows 10. That doesn't necessarily mean that it won't work at all on Windows 10. It means that Microsoft hasn't tested it on Windows 10 and hasn't continued to keep it up-to-date with all the changes to Windows over the years.

This past weekend we purchased a new desktop tower with Windows 10 for a family member to replace the older XP tower. Using the MSWorks 9.0 disks I was able to install to out-of-box Windows 10 on the tower with no errors and no compatibility mode.
