How to mount/display large numbers of patches
Jan 3, 2009 · I have been using blue painters masking tape loops to secure a patch because at times the two sided tape doesn't hold. A friend back in NY had about 5 of these mounted beside each other against the wall which gave him around 12-15' of "Pages". This would allow him to display thousands of patches using up a minimum amount of wall space.

Securing Patches for Display, what's the best way
Dec 10, 2019 · This is how I am planning to display my patches, but I also want to I.D. them. So, once I get them up, and secured, and having people ask, what's this patch. What's that one, it might get old, having to say every time...that's the Manhattan Project patch. That's the Seventh Army patch, that's the Eight, the fifteenth, Tenth Corps, and so on.

Oct 7, 2024 · Nothing says "fun" like moving nearly 60 Civil War artillery cannonballs and projectiles and their new display stand. Me and one of our volunteers spent this morning reconfiguring our Civil War display to remove the old platform that held only 10 shells and setup the new platform made by an Eagle Scout candidate for his Eagle Scout project.

Best way to display patches without hurting them?
Nov 6, 2013 · After many years of dealing with patches I have changed my display methods several times. I have some in riker mounts (which can be mounted on a wall for display) and some in regular frames. I use to use 3-ring binders, but they took up alot of space AND were time consuming to rearrange. The majority of my collection exist in file cabinets.

Mounting patches in a frame? - U.S. Militaria Forum
Feb 13, 2013 · That's a difficult one because anything which is adhesive will ultimately leave a little residue on the reverse of the patch. A friend of mine recently did a shadow box display and used small sections of hook 'n' pile tape (ie "Velcro") to secure the patches. No danger of them slipping, but an adhesive method nevertheless!

Oct 25, 2023 · If this were a Gulf War (1990-1991) for example it may be for the 197th Infantry Brigade (Part of 24th Infantry Division) but authorized to wear their BDE patch as Former Wartime Service (AKA Combat patch). The Second Gulf War had numerous National Guard units and reserve units that have the shape of this insignia.. Leigh
