Equip my skeleton with armor? : r/dndnext - Reddit
Jul 8, 2015 · The skeleton in the Monster Manual looks to be the animated corpse of a guy who was wearing some armor and carrying a sword and a shortbow when he died. He is proficient with them now, and I assume he was when he was alive; it'd be really really odd for the body to gain equipment proficiencies by being raised from the dead.
The Skeleton - A Spooky Race for D&D 5e : r/dndnext - Reddit
Oct 1, 2019 · The Skeleton – A spooky race for D&D 5e. Every year around the same time, when the moon hangs low and fog creeps into every nook and cranny, a rusty trombone can be heard. This dread dooting signals the beginning of the Skeleton Wars, and new bone-dry warriors claw their way out of their meat prisons.

Apr 20, 2022 · So I’m trying to create a homebrew skeleton race to convince my DM to allow me to put a skeleton in the party. Any one have any well-balanced ideas? Feb 6, 2015 · My players encountered a friendly race of skeleton men while traversing the Dark Realm, and after a PC death the player wanted to take over their skeletal NPC guide. Dec 14, 2014 · That said, here's my idea for a skeleton race using said guide: Skeleton Race: Total score 6 +1 Dex: 1 +2 Con: 2 Bludgeoning vulnerability: -1 Living Dead: 1.5 Even though you are dead, you remain among the living. You are immune to disease. You do not need to eat or breathe, but you can ingest food and drink if you wish.
5e Any good Skeleton PC race homebrew? : r/DnD - Reddit
May 28, 2016 · I realize that undead are traditionally evil by nature, but I was looking for a decent brew for playing as a good or neutral aligned Skeleton Warlock PC. If none really exist, I was thinking of using the UA Eberron Warforged as a base since they would share a lot of traits being essentially sentient constructs and tweaking it from there as ...
Race: Skeleton - I died, but I lived ! - A very tongue-in ... - Reddit
Oct 12, 2020 · It's great, but it's just a little annoying to me how features like Skeletal Nature always seem to go out of their way to avoid being as useful as the Elven Trance, leaving it so Elven Trance is the only way to get the actual benefits of a 4 hour rest/inactive state making it somewhat pointless, while stacking the deck more towards elves having sole heir to reduced …
r/DnD on Reddit: Is it better to animate a skeleton or a zombie …
Oct 3, 2019 · A good mix of both is the best. According to the MM, skeletons are better at doing little tasks, so if your DM rules consistent with that than skeleton would be all around better. A skeleton would reach for the knob if you told it to walk through the door, and a zombie would bump into it repeatedly until it was opened for it.

The skeleton statblock has ragged armor, weapons, and a shortbow. The only thing you need to provide your skeletons is ammunition after they use up their starting amount(I don't remember how much ammo is advised to give to a monster, but its usually like 1d20 or similar) On a related note - you don't need a complete skeleton to raise a skeleton.
