An increase in Russia’s agri-food exports
Mar 1, 2024 · Despite the war and the sanctions, over the last two years the size of Russia’s agri-food exports has continuously risen, although the pace of this increase has now slowed down. In 2023, the value of supplies delivered to foreign markets stood at around $43.5 bn, which accounted for around 10% of the Russian Federation’s (RF) total export revenues.
US Army in Lithuania: a new outpost on the eastern flank
Jan 14, 2021 · In mid-December, the US Army deployed a contingent of approximately 500 soldiers in Pabradė, located to the north-east of Vilnius. The troops will remain in Lithuania for eight months – until mid-2021. This is the third rotation of a US armoured battalion in the country. Previous contingents were stationed there from October 2019 to June 2020 and from September to November 2020.

Moldova: record-breaking support for reunification with Romania
Apr 19, 2021 · The percentage of Moldovans in favour of their country's reunification with Romania reached a record 43.9% in the second half of March this year. The data comes from a poll published on April 6 by Moldova's iData company. The same survey also shows a clear drop in support for Moldova's integration into the Eurasian Union promoted by Russia (from 48.1% in January to 40% at present).
