Depending on how you charge your controller it might be not automatically detected. If you can dont have it regularly on juice while playing.

I am however on my 3rd controller, the previous 2 controllers I used a fast charge phone charger which I think killed the batteries (they last 15 minutes before saying the battery is dead, turn controller back on says its full and immediately says its dead). Before the issues started, I'd play with one whilst the other was on charge and alternate.

Jan 26, 2023 · So any charger can be use to charge the ps5 controller. Just don't use those cheap charger. Always get those original branded (anker, belkin, oneplus ,etc chargers). Cheap charger doesn't have circuits to regulate charge and may send extra current. Another thing is a lithium ion battery have a max battery cycle of 350-400.

Nov 15, 2020 · Charging PS5 controller from wall outlet. I started charging my controller about 6am this morning and it's 2:40pm now and it's still charging. I am charging the same way as my ps4 controller and that charged normally in like 5 hours. My set up is the original cable it came with, an extended cable because the original is short, and a wall charger.

Nov 18, 2020 · Inside the pinhole there's a tiny button that you can hear when pressed. Keep it held for 5 seconds and the controller will reset - the PS5 will realise it's disconnected.
